Jack Gallagher

As a media and public relations expert, as well as a working journalist and documentarian, Jack has worked with top professionals in the fields of the arts, history, politics, medicine, law, business, health and beauty. For more than 30 years he has helped clients harness the power of media, including all varieties of television, radio and print news. He has also created programs for PBS, ESPN, USA and the Travel Channel.

Jack’s sense of humor allows clients to take the stress out of communications, assisting them to deliver a focused message about themselves and their professions, to handle controversy, and to deliver a clear, concise, unforgettable message.

In Orange County, California, alone, Jack has served as Creative Director and Executive Producer at Public Broadcasting’s KOCE-TV. He was the creator of Orange County’s only televised news program, Real Orange, designed to highlight life in the county. His vision for the program put him in touch with hundreds of nonprofit organizations, museums and historic sites.

Jack serves as a board member of the Media Alliance of Orange County, media advisor to Santa Ana College, and media director for the Newport Film Festival.

Prior to his California work, Jack was a top-rated news anchorman in Washington, DC, Ohio, and Texas and served as a consultant for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the American Council on Education, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Voice of America and the Department of Defense.

He lives in southern California where he enjoys movie making, film screen editing, comedy, and museums. Once profiled in Fortune magazine, Jack’s lifelong love of cultural organizations is evident in his volunteer work at the historic San Juan Capistrano Mission and Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens.
